Can you believe it’s already June?! The Meevo team has been hard at work since our last release in April and we have a feeling you’re going to love the new enhancements and features coming your way. Find out what’s new with Meevo and how it’ll benefit your business and your staff in our Q&A blog with Andrew Clarke, VP of Product Development.
Q1. What’s one feature you’re expecting to be a client favorite?
I would expect the enhancements we’ve made to the Wait List feature to be one of the favorites in our summer release. With almost 50 ideas and 600 votes submitted, there were a lot of improvements that businesses were asking for, including the ability to:
- Assign an appointment category
- Input multiple date ranges
- Offer availability by gender preference and price level
- Select multiple specific employees
These were only a few of the requests received and we’re actively reviewing and scheduling some of the additional Wait List updates for future enhancements.
Q2. Which is your favorite update within this release?
I’d have to say the overhaul of our MA200 report (Growth Indicators Analysis) is my favorite update. The MA200 helps businesses understand overall performance as well as individual employee performance.
We spent a lot of time improving the metrics on this report and one of the many changes was a frequency of visit update with our new “Core Clients” concept. This metric lets you define what constitutes a “Core Client” based on the total number of guests that came in for a specific number of appointments within a defined date range (pictured below).
Q3. What’s a recent enhancement that clients can’t stop talking about?
Without a doubt, that would be the release of MeevoPay: our all-in-one payment processing solution embedded within Meevo. This has been quite the hot topic within our Facebook Community group and has been highly anticipated for a while now.
MeevoPay was officially launched in April earlier this year and our Merchant Services team has been working relentlessly to onboard businesses to the new payment platform. MeevoPay offers competitive flat-rate pricing that includes a free credit card terminal, top-notch support and customer service from our dedicated team, embedded reporting and deposit tracking, fraud prevention and chargeback assistance, no extra fees for account updates, next day funding, and so much more.
Q4. How will this release improve the client experience that Meevo users provide guests?
I think the client experience our users provide will be elevated by our new Wait List updates. Guests now have the option to provide their visit availability within a specific window of openings (pictured below), allowing more scheduling opportunities for service providers.
MeevoPay is another one that brings tremendous value for guests and will continue to enhance the client experience at checkout, both in-person and online, as we release more updates and new features.
