This latest release is largely focused on bringing cutting-edge AI tools to the platform, along with several workflow improvements based on your feedback. Q1. What is your favorite enhancement in this release?

 

We have a lot of exciting AI enhancements coming to Meevo, and the one we’re most thrilled about is MIA (Meevo Interactive Assistant), our new AI-powered chatbot. MIA is designed to assist managers, owners, front desk staff, and service providers by answering Meevo-related questions and offering business operation suggestions, helping everyone work more efficiently.

Previously, we introduced Emma, our AI-powered email marketing tool, and the Reputation Management feature, which helps craft review responses using AI. Now, with MIA, we’re taking things a step further by giving you a hands-on assistant inside Meevo. MIA will be available as a ‘preview’ feature in this release, allowing you to get early access and provide feedback as it learns and continues to improve.

 

You can ask MIA a variety of questions like:

  • “How does Meevo determine an appointment is rebooked?”
  • “What’s the best way to configure resource-only services?”
  • “How do I easily respond to reviews left on Google?”

 

MIA’s goal is to make accessing information faster and simpler, so you can focus on running your business. After each interaction, you can give MIA a thumbs up or down to help improve its responses. We can’t wait for you to try it and be part of shaping MIA’s future.

 

Q2. How will businesses benefit from this feature?

 

MIA will be a game-changer for businesses that want quick, on-demand support for managing their Meevo system. Q3. What ‘hidden gem’ should all Meevo users know about?

 

A small but incredibly useful improvement in this release is the enhanced process for refunding online booking deposits. In the past, if you needed to refund a deposit, you had to cancel the associated appointment, which was an inconvenience for both the business and the client. Now, you can refund the deposit directly from the client’s history, via the transaction editor, or simply by looking up the transaction number in the register.

This flexibility means faster refunds without disrupting appointment schedules, making it easier to manage transactions and provide excellent customer service. If your business uses online booking deposits, this hidden gem will be a valuable addition to your toolkit.
